Challenge of Change

Heaps of things are in the process of change. Although it isn’t seen on corporate media, there are massive shifts happening in the world today. As important as these changes are, nothing is more important than what is happening within us. The shifts in energy that we are feeling, as we are moving into the light, is creating changes in all of us! We know that changes require challenges and struggle, so it’s important to view everything as happening for our highest good. The important thing is to remain hopeful and joyful when recognising the birth pangs of bringing forth a new world.
When we are mindful and grateful in the midst of seeming chaos, we provide incredible strength and inspiration to others. We feel our energy and vibration rising, as we strive to bring more light into the world by sharing our heart with others. This is a time for celebration and a sense of liberation from the darkness our world has experienced. Being immersed in the energy of love is the most effective way that we can assist in bringing forth the new world. Let’s continue throwing off the last vestiges of the fear based control structure we are all familiar with. As we face these ongoing challenges, the gratitude we express for being here at this time, will help make the shift one of smoothness, grace and joy. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

Are You Worthy?

How do you spoil yourself? Do you feel like you deserve to spoil yourself with pleasures or do you have an innate sense of unworthiness for everything you have achieved and received? Many of us were brought up with a feeling that we could never be good enough to gain the love we so desperately desired. We created such high expectations for ourselves that would make it almost impossible for us to feel satisfied that we were good enough. This feeling leads to a sense of always needing to prove ourselves and that no matter how hard we try, it is never enough.
What would happen if we adopted the belief that we are children of God and we are innately lovable just as we are? We are deserving of all the abundance of the universe, and it is ours for the asking. What if the purpose we choose is simply to share this abundance with others who might have shared similar beliefs. We can trust the universe to provide for our desires as long as we are committed to sharing our love and abundance with others. We are worthy of love and respect from everyone simply because we give it first. By adopting these more empowering beliefs we can shift our paradigm from one of unworthiness to one of being someone who can manifest abundance in our life and in the lives of others.

Open Mind Required

Minds are like parachutes… they work best when open! So what does it mean to have an open mind? Is it possible to have a truly blank mind like that of a young child, to whom everything is new and exciting and sometimes overwhelming? What would the world look like if we were to achieve this state of being? Would life seem exciting, stimulating and always with something new to learn and experience? What would it take to return to that state of having a truly open mind?
It would first require examining our limiting beliefs and be willing to let them go. Judgments would have to go as well. How can we have a completely open mind when we are labelling and judging things as good or bad based on our past experience? Next it would require deep listening (mindfulness) and willingness to take in information, knowledge, and wisdom from any source, not just ones we deem as acceptable.
Would this totally throw you off? Most likely! It would wipe out the foundation of life and discernment that most of us have built up over a lifetime. However, what would the benefits be? Is it possible that this is what we need to change… now that the world is awakening? Would a truly open mind be required to be part of these exciting times? Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

Are You Worthy?

Do you feel like you have to prove yourself as being worthy or tend to judge yourself? Is this a positive or negative thing? Most of us were taught that we must make lots of money in order to prove our worth, that we have to compete for our place in the world, that we must do well on the test or win the game, that we are inherently flawed and must perform well to be deserving of love. Sound familiar? Looking back, it is easy to see this pattern in most of our lives. Has this kind of thinking motivated you or propelled you to success? Or has it cost you in certain areas of your life?

What would happen if you saw yourself as a perfect and powerful spark of Source Energy? Would you love yourself and recognise your inherent worth more completely? Would you see this life as a wonderful gift in which you are meant to share your love and your wisdom with as many people as possible? Would you strive to accomplish good things for your community, not out of a need to prove yourself worthy, but out of a sense of gratitude for the amazing gifts you have been given! Heart v Mind

Which is more important, our heart or our mind? We have all been taught that developing the mind and brain is paramount for success in life. Science has proven that the heart has about 5000 times more electro-magnetic energy than the brain. It has also been proven that about 80% of neural activity between brain and heart moves from the heart to the brain and only 20% the opposite. It therefore makes sense that our heart should be in control of our mind and not vice versa!
What happens when we begin to listen to our heart more than our mind? We have less judgment and more compassion for ourselves and for others. We begin to say yes to life and follow our passions rather than having resistance and excuses. We are more willing to take on challenges without fear causing blocks to our progress. We are more relaxed and at peace instead of over-thinking and stressed out. Our connection to the wisdom and intelligence of Source is clearer and more direct without the distraction of thoughts. Our heart is the connector between body and mind and keeps everything flowing smoothly when we allow it to direct our life. Heartfulness and mindfulness go hand in hand. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

Breakthrough

How do you know when you have made a true breakthrough in your life? Is it a knowing deep in your soul that you are more connected with your true self? Can you feel the difference in your body? Is there a heightened sense of emotion, like love, joy, happiness or gratitude? Is there a greater sense of empathy and compassion for others? Will people who know you, notice any difference? Or will it be something that only you can really feel in your heart? When you really do have a breakthrough and move into a higher vibrational frequency; is it permanent or do you need to solidify it with a daily practice?
Breakthrough is different for each individual. What creates a breakthrough for you, and how it is manifested in your life, will be unique to you. Seeking breakthroughs, even little ones, is the key to consistently move your frequency into higher realms. When you can help spark breakthroughs in others, then your own growth is assured. Ultimately the result of all breakthroughs is more love, joy and happiness in your life and in the lives of others. Practice being mindful throughout your day and the breakthroughs will come. Mentoring Rewards

How important is it to have or be a mentor? Can you think of someone who helped you grow and achieve the success you have? Was it a teacher, a boss, a coach, a relative or perhaps just a good-hearted person who inspired you? Chances are that it was one of the greatest gifts you have ever received. I know it was for me! To share one’s wisdom and knowledge to help another person is one of the greatest gifts we can give.
Are you currently mentoring someone? How are you sharing your gifts and your wisdom in a way that will become your legacy? If you aren’t doing so presently, perhaps it is something you would like to pursue. It could be someone that you seek out (like me) or that the universe provides in response to your intention. Look at how desperate the younger generations are to have someone to look up to, and show them how to see themselves and the world in a more positive light. Why not share your love with someone and help him or her create a greater impact in the world? The rewards are so worth it! Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

Stimulation

What do you do to keep your spiritual energy strong? Have you developed a true mindful practice? Do you consistently fill your life with positive thoughts and new stimulation? Do you listen to experts and attend workshops? Do you focus on internal silence and listening to your inner guides?
No matter what you do in your quiet time, it is still very important to have the stimulation of human interaction. We may prefer to only associate with like-minded, spiritually oriented people. However, the greatest teachers are often those who get under our skin. You know the ones! Those irritating people may be the best way to make us aware of our repressed feelings of resentment, guilt or anger. Awareness is the key to recognising the gift and being able to respond rather than react to those who get in our face.

Another person that is very beneficial to have in your life is a mentor or coach who can guide, inspire and give proper perspective. Someone to challenge you to move beyond your comfort zone, and explore the scary yet infinitely rewarding adventure, that awaits when you step out in faith. Growth takes many forms and can be stimulated in many ways. When you seek out every opportunity, life becomes an amazing journey that is stimulating for you and benefits the whole of humanity. Is It True?

Which is more important? Trying to understand the true history of our world or envisioning a new world being created? Things being discovered today about the planet’s past is fascinating and turns most things we were taught upside down. The limited framework we were exposed to has given many of us a skewed perspective. How has this false knowledge affected you? The most important thing to realise, from a spiritual point of view, is that we have been connected to the universe since the world began. Nothing has changed!

Be curious about your beliefs and the things you have been taught! Creating a life in a way that envisions a better world for you and the entire planet is the way to go. Aspire to a world of love, peace, compassion and cooperation. It is so easy to get caught up in the past or in the future. Live your life as fully as possible in the present moment. How do you know whether you are present or not? By observing your thoughts, rather than getting all caught up in them. Mindful practice is simple, but not always easy. That’s why it’s called a practice! Use the past as lessons and focus on the present moment to create a future that is both fulfilling and rewarding. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

True Friendship

How deep are your relationships? Do you have people that would respond immediately to any emergency? Are you the kind of friend whom others could call on and you would drop everything to help them in their time of need? Being a true friend is something that is always balanced. You just do things spontaneously out of love and concern for the wellbeing of the other.
You attract friends by being the kind of person who people love to be around. Someone who is light-hearted yet uplifting to be with. Someone who calls to catch up, not just when a favour is needed. Someone who accepts a friend where they’re at, without trying to change them. Always seeking to inspire the friend to see themselves in the most empowered way possible. Friendship is a way to practice oneness, where we are all connected at an energetic soul level. In theory, we can be friends with everyone, but in practice, it starts at an individual level. We practice connecting deeply and sharing our loving essence with those we are closest to. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!
