Grief

When a loved one suffers a sudden or tragic loss of someone they love dearly, what can we possibly say that can be of benefit? There are no words that can help someone through their grieving process. The best we can do is express our love and support them in whatever way seems appropriate in our heart. The grieving process is one of the most human experiences we can have. The process itself is one of purification, allowing the release of all types of emotions, including sadness, sorrow, anger, rage and many others. Full expression of these emotions is very important as a growth process in the individual’s journey. It allows them to start moving forward with a higher perspective on the sacredness of life itself.
We may know that death is a liberating process and that all spiritual traditions teach about the afterlife. We can rationalise that the deceased is in a more wonderful place, as virtually everyone who has had a near death experience, (including me) has described the beauty of the other side. We know that death is a natural part of the cycle of life and that everything happens for our ultimate benefit, no matter how painful it may be in the moment. Although it is nice to have the reassurance of these perspectives on life, the emotions of sorrow and grief are one of the most natural things that make us human. Honour those emotions and the important role they play in our lives. Everything has its place in this unique journey called life. Why not give thanks for all aspects of this cycle of life. Balance

Is it possible to live a completely balanced life? The desire for balance has been promoted so much that many people assume it is an essential goal in life. However, when we look at people who are deemed successful in the eyes of the world, how balanced are they? Doesn’t it take a degree of almost fanatical focus in one area to become a master at anything? Is it possible to achieve complete balance when one is focused on pursuing their true passion in life?
It seems like those who truly are balanced are almost forced to remain in the level of mediocrity in their life. However, those who are incredibly successful in one area are often utter failures and completely miserable in other aspects. Perhaps the key is to not neglect any of the major aspects of life, even though you may put most of your attention toward your passion. It is important not to neglect the spiritual and emotional aspects of your being, but if those are your focus, not to neglect the mental and physical aspects. A simple test might be to examine your relationships, with others, with yourself and with Source. The nature of these relationships can tell you a lot about your overall balance in life. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

Our Greatest Gift

How do we contribute to world consciousness? We all have a desire to leave a lasting and valuable imprint by how we live our lives. We want our life to have meaning and to have made a difference. Our greatest gift is our uniqueness and we each have a unique path. The question to consistently ask ourselves is, ‘What is my unique gift and how can I share it in a more profound way?’ Most of us tend to downplay our gifts and feel that we can’t really make much of a difference. However, if you think about your life, your experience, your passions and your skills, you will certainly find one if not more areas in which your life can have a positive impact on the lives of others.
For some, parenting is the biggest gift. Others may love to lead, inspire, teach or coach others in a variety of settings. Settings such as music, art, writing or performing. Sharing with other people on social media could also be an impact area. For some, meditating and energetically bringing light to the world is an incredible gift. The beauty of life is its diversity and the richness that each of us brings to the whole. What are you bringing forth into the world? What ways can you continue to increase your impact on the planet? Silence your thoughts and the answers will come. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

Create Your Ripple

It is always my hope that the people who are touched by my ripple, then create a ripple of their own. That way, we can change the world, one person at a time. We that have been blessed with an understanding of higher consciousness, have a desire and an obligation to share that wisdom with others. We certainly have knowledge and experience that the average human being doesn’t. The question is how to inspire others to move forward on their true life’s path in a way they can relate to?

Anyone who desires to be this kind of bridge person or way shower needs to establish some credibility. How do you overcome your innate humility to proclaim to the world that you have something of value to offer? How do you create the kind of energy and light that will influence and inspire people? I have two words for you to consider… Vulnerability and Authenticity. Perhaps it is time to step up and proclaim the expertise you have and the gifts you are offering. Go ahead… share your story and make yourself vulnerable, it’s the absolute best way to be authentic! Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

True Potential

What is holding you back from achieving your true potential? Do you have physical limitations that seem to restrict your energy, focus or stamina? If so, how could your living experience be a gift you could share with others? The same is true with your emotional or psychological battles. Instead of looking at aspects of your life as limitations, can you see them as lived experience that give you something very valuable to share with the world?
How you share these experiences may vary also. For some, writing is their ideal medium while others share through art of some type. Others are expert teachers or inspiring coaches. Whatever your gift is, now is a great time to begin to share it with a wider audience. Humanity needs your perspective and your voice of wisdom. Playing small and being fearful of putting yourself out there doesn’t serve you or the greater good of humanity. Why not see your limitations as strengths and be open hearted enough to share yourself with others? Making yourself vulnerable isn’t something to fear, it sets you free and becomes your superpower! We can all contribute to the consciousness of our planet in this age of awakening! Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

Warning Signs

Do you scan your body and heed its warning signs? Or do you continue to push on until you get a huge wake-up call, in the form of an illness or injury? Most of us have been so indoctrinated with the work ethic that we have trouble relaxing and have lost the essential art of rejuvenation. Just as the body needs sleep at night to recuperate and repair itself, time away from stress and being on the job are essential to retain a sense of energy and purpose in what you are doing.
In fact, resting may just give you the perspective to begin to question what you are doing in your life and ensure that it is in alignment with your life purpose. When you take time to step away and truly evaluate what you are spending your life doing, it may become clear that you are not necessarily aligned with your highest purpose. The longer you remain in the busy mode, the more difficult it is to reflect and wake up to the trap you may have gotten sucked into. What is your body telling you? Is it asking for more rest and recovery time? Is it asking for more exercise or time in nature? When you learn to honour your body’s signals, you will be able to achieve a more consistently fulfilling life, filled with the joy of being on purpose in everything you do. Making Choices

How do we make choices? Are major decisions in life planned out logically with lists of pros and cons, the cost and possible outcomes? Or do we take the opposite approach and simply go with the flow, trusting the universe to bring us opportunities and experiences that will shape and guide our life? Perhaps both approaches are valid and which one we use may depend on the nature of the choice.
What has served many people well is to listen to their body and what it tells them about a particular choice. Others simply follow their gut as to what feels right. What would happen if you used mindfulness and simply meditated? Trusting Source to guide you to the right decision? Opening your mind to new ideas by questioning old belief patterns can potentially reveal a new choice. The mindful practice of pausing your thoughts and connecting with Source can result in choices more wonderful than you could ever have imagined. Allowing the universe to guide you can result in miraculous choices that open up a whole new world of possibilities. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

Perspective

How do we truly change the world? Do we really have the power to help make a shift in the history of our planet? The beauty of life is that we have a choice in each moment, as to who we are and what our world looks like. No matter what corporate media says or what appears to be happening in the big picture of our tiny planet. We can choose to have an even bigger picture of ourselves, our planet and the entire universe. When we look from this perspective, we can live in a way that isn’t really affected by the news-making headlines of the day. When we see from the timeless perspective of eternity and the unlimited perspective of space, we can see how tiny and fleeting these happenings on Earth truly are. It enables us to savour each moment and be present with it, without being sucked into the drama of events being reported.
How do we balance these two perspectives? When we have a universal perspective, we can see everything as part of the grand plan, that we co-create under the direction of the creative forces of our Source Energy. When we trust in the benevolence of the universe, then our daily life becomes one of adventure and constant surprises, we are able to see the beauty in everyone and the positive value in every experience. When we are living in love and are aware of our higher purpose, we automatically become a role model to show others that it is possible to experience tremendous challenges without fear. We change the world by constantly choosing love over fear. In this way we change our world in every moment, and soon the entire world will reflect our shift in consciousness. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect! Mindful Love & Practice Always!

Are You Worthy?

How do you spoil yourself? Do you feel like you deserve to spoil yourself with pleasures or do you have an innate sense of unworthiness for everything you have achieved and received? Many of us were brought up with a feeling that we could never be good enough to gain the love we so desperately desired. We created such high expectations for ourselves that would make it almost impossible for us to feel satisfied that we were good enough. This feeling leads to a sense of always needing to prove ourselves and that no matter how hard we try, it is never enough.
What would happen if we adopted the belief that we are children of God and we are innately lovable just as we are? We are deserving of all the abundance of the universe, and it is ours for the asking. What if the purpose we choose is simply to share this abundance with others who might have shared similar beliefs. We can trust the universe to provide for our desires as long as we are committed to sharing our love and abundance with others. We are worthy of love and respect from everyone simply because we give it first. By adopting these more empowering beliefs we can shift our paradigm from one of unworthiness to one of being someone who can manifest abundance in our life and in the lives of others.
Remember… we are what we believe. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!

Are You Worthy?

Do you feel like you have to prove yourself as being worthy or tend to judge yourself? Is this a positive or negative thing? Most of us were taught that we must make lots of money in order to prove our worth, that we have to compete for our place in the world, that we must do well on the test or win the game, that we are inherently flawed and must perform well to be deserving of love. Sound familiar? Looking back, it is easy to see this pattern in most of our lives. Has this kind of thinking motivated you or propelled you to success? Or has it cost you in certain areas of your life?

What would happen if you saw yourself as a perfect and powerful spark of Source Energy? Would you love yourself and recognise your inherent worth more completely? Would you see this life as a wonderful gift in which you are meant to share your love and your wisdom with as many people as possible? Would you strive to accomplish good things for your community, not out of a need to prove yourself worthy, but out of a sense of gratitude for the amazing gifts you have been given!
