Which is more important, our heart or our mind? We have all been taught that developing the mind and brain is paramount for success in life. Science has proven that the heart has about 5000 times more electro-magnetic energy than the brain. It has also been proven that about 80% of neural activity between brain and heart moves from the heart to the brain and only 20% the opposite. It therefore makes sense that our heart should be in control of our mind and not vice versa!
What happens when we begin to listen to our heart more than our mind? We have less judgment and more compassion for ourselves and for others. We begin to say yes to life and follow our passions rather than having resistance and excuses. We are more willing to take on challenges without fear causing blocks to our progress. We are more relaxed and at peace instead of over-thinking and stressed out. Our connection to the wisdom and intelligence of Source is clearer and more direct without the distraction of thoughts. Our heart is the connector between body and mind and keeps everything flowing smoothly when we allow it to direct our life. Heartfulness and mindfulness go hand in hand. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!
