Wow! What an excellent response to Mindfulness Day. Thank you!
Mindfulness is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment. It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment of daily life. To be mindful is to be truly alive and present with those around you and with what you are doing. Mindfulness is the best hope for the world to overcome mental suffering and is part of all therapies used in treating ‘mental illness’ today. The 1st Sunday in May is Mindfulness Day and is also the launch of ‘Mindful May’. Winter follows May in Australia which is the prime time for depression & suicide. It is Free to attend this Awesome Awareness Event. If we work together, maybe this could go global. Please Share!
Sunday 4th May is the launch of Mindful May and the first Mindful Action on that day is to spend time with your best friend and talk about the benefits of mindfulness. What about posting a selfie with your mindful comment on the event wall?
I will post a Mindful Action daily until the 31st May. That’s 27 days of practising mindfulness. This is where I need your help. I do ok on my own but together, we can make a huge difference! Please e-mail your suggestions. bemindful@outlook.com.au
Jump on board! It’s gunna be a great ride!

There’s a shot from an old pix, Carousel, where I think the male lead is about to give up and the angel somehow gets him to lasso a star…hmmm, I may be mixing up shots & movies BUT I fully now intend to lasso a star…and swing and swing…singing and giggling. THANX..holding onto this image is going to be a huge help!
What a Great Idea..I discovered Mindfulness about 12 years ago after a heart episode and it changed my life. I live it everyday!!
Thank You for this website
I love this idea. I will share it on my Facebook page and encourage everyone to join in. I’d like to contribute by suggesting that everyone is mindful of their words and thoughts and to keep them positive. No negative words, no judging others, no complaining. Start with these and the rest will follow
I want to participate in the Mind full Month of May. It is only fitting since the first day 05/04 is my wedding anniversary. I will dedicate this to my marriage.
My story is long, as most are♡luckily I got into counseling and DBT♡I’m still in healing but so very beyond grateful for the skills of mindfulness! !!! It’s truly gave me strength and hope and a list of beautiful positive moments that out#the negative more every day:) it opened my door that I never realized was there and when I opened it. .. behind stood a woman I’ve never met; ) myself and she’s a artist and a very patient loving woman♡♡♡♡when life goes crazy we through our hands up.
I have wanted to start a blog for ever and had to get brave enough to do so… Well I finally did it! !! I started it yesterday and I will continue and my goal is to share my Storie in a positive manner and help spread positive and the skill of MINDFULNESS that I am still learning every day and thank you John I am so grateful I stumble across your page:) keep it up positivity is contagious;)
My husband and I were having a conversation about mindfulness jjust last evening. For him he says he has a “little guy” sitting on a shelf watching his thoughts/speech and actions that previews what he’s about to say and then redirects him if it isn’t positive or uplifting.
For me it is more of an internal switch and silent prayer to be mindful to those around me. Either way looking forward to Mindfulness Day 🙂 thank you <3
Love it
Looking forward to this.
How fabulous – Mindful May – I love it!!!!
So looking forward to joining this event and connecting with mindful people who will be contributing their beautiful energy and connecting in love.
I am living in this moment and embracing mindfulness and sending out healing love, light and peace to all humans, animals, plants, and everything within this planet.
With heartfelt gratitude.
I presently live in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. I like to join the group interested in and practicing mindfulness. Would like to share my experiences along the way.
I am so glad I found your page this morning. I look forward to the day.
I live in Kenya…so I am sending you very positive energy from a little ways off…because this is something I very much believe in…
…
‘Today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.’….
wishing for greater mindfulness…and increased positivity…because I believe we need it.
I do five daily salat which help me stay on track and have harmony especially with the loss of both parents and two over close siblings recently. I seems to be coping and am stronger by the moment.
Add me to your list
Good intentions let’s start and give it a try
I think this is fantastic. I will try and be mindful each and every day for the rest if my earthly life and be mindful of others as well.
When i am meditating i wish i am brighter than the sun so I can give/send light to those in the dark.
Beautiful Blessings.
Thank you
I love this idea! My psychologist is always telling me to be “present” and “mindful”. I have had GAD for a few years now. After separating from my husband of 9 years last year, being present and mindful were some of the things that helped get me through. I can’t wait for this to kick off in May, in fact I’m going to start writing down each day a time that I was present through that day, no matter how I was feeling.
Thanks for the inspiration!
A wonderful event that I would be happy to join in and I will also post this on my FB page Reiki Farm and hopefully we can get a few more to join.
Blessings
Jo
Awesome looking forward to it!
